Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 1.60% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ), which rose 15.90% or 217.00 points to trade at 1,582.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Norsk Hydro ASA (OL: NHY ) added 1.57% or 1.04 points to end at 67.26 and Storebrand ASA (OL: STB ) was up 1.55% or 1.90 points to 124.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ), which fell 4.83% or 2.32 points to trade at 45.76 at the close. Nel ASA (OL: NEL ) declined 4.17% or 0.09 points to end at 2.14 and Subsea 7 SA (OL: SUBC ) was down 2.72% or 4.70 points to 168.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 171 to 105 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) rose to all time highs; up 15.90% or 217.00 to 1,582.00. Shares in Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.83% or 2.32 to 45.76.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.22% or 0.15 to $69.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $72.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.77% or 50.40 to trade at $2,898.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.35% to 11.70, while USD/NOK fell 0.62% to 11.15.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.95% at 106.54.
