Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.31%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed , Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.31%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE: OPCE ), which rose 2.57% or 97.00 points to trade at 3,869.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE: DSCT ) added 2.31% or 66.00 points to end at 2,918.00 and Strauss Group (TASE: STRS ) was up 2.22% or 192.00 points to 8,825.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE: NVMI ), which fell 3.32% or 2,250.00 points to trade at 65,500.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE: NICE ) declined 2.58% or 1,510.00 points to end at 57,050.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: TSEM ) was down 1.97% or 290.00 points to 14,430.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 233 to 195 and 110 ended unchanged.

Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE: OPCE ) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.57% or 97.00 to 3,869.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.54% or 0.33 to $61.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.53% or 0.34 to hit $64.21 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 2.15% or 70.80 to trade at $3,394.50 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.01% to 3.60, while EUR/ILS rose 0.75% to 4.09.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.84% at 99.01.
